Bohemia lost its genius of silence today. Marcel Marceau, who performed for 50 years as Bip, the clown, and never said a single word, while still able to communicate volumes. He died today at age 84. No one else has ever spoken directly to so many without saying anything before. Now he joins the eternal silence. He was rich in words he never spoke. The world is poorer for his passing.

Au Revoir, and thanks for your gifts from the stage.
