When I saw this image of my son Leif on PhotoBucket I just had to share it on my diary. The proud parent loves seeing their children grow into young men and this photograph is so different from the younger boy just discovering his way in the world. Now he is confident and heading into manhood with grace and style. A father could not ask for more.
It is also wonderful seeing him getting onto the web as an individual. It is a new way that we have these days of interacting with each other that Leif no doubt thinks of as normal, whereas being from a generation in which the PC was first developed around the time I was Leif's age, for me it still retains a feeling of newness.
Fortunately, however I can embrace it. Others are not so fortunate. I notice with my parent's generation that it is much harder to share my life with them because they refuse to use the computer and can't see the joy in discovering things like this photo of Leif on PhotoBucket.
