CONGRATULATIONS   LEIF

Leif has just won a state wide competition to design a cover for the TAFE student association diary for next year. Here it is:

It wins Leif $1,500 in prize money as well as the joy of seeing his work on the SA diary next year. It is particularly satisfying knowing that he beat all the design and illustration students with his design. he is repeating high school subjects to improve his position for getting into the university course of his choice (he wants to do science - not design)

I remember the night he stayed up all night doing his entry. Naturally he had left it to the last minute. The result was worth the lost sleep. I was very pleased then and doubly so now.
