To Town Hall - 15 minutes
To Circular Quay - 25 minutes
To the State Library - 15 minutes
To the Art Gallery of NSW - 10 minutes
To the supermarket (under the Coca Cola sign) - less than 5 minutes
To Harry's Cafe de Wheels - 10 minutes
To Darling Harbour - 20 minutes
To the Botanic Gardens - 15 minutes
To Rushcutters Bay - 10 minutes
To Taylor Square - 10 minutes
Kings Cross station is less than 5 minutes walk up the hill. From there I can go to the shopping center of Bondi Junction (10 minutes away) or anywhere else in Sydney. Buses are downstairs, taxis can be hailed from my front door, and ferries are nearby at Circular Quay. Even the airport shuttle buses stop just up the street. From my Kings Cross studio I feel like I can go anywhere easily, but the best thing of all is that most important things I need from supermarkets to art gallery's are all within a short walk of here.
